- apply online for student aid
- check the status of your application
- view an your inbox
- update your address
- submit documents electronically
- view details of previous applications
Use the Last Name and First Name that you most recently used when you:
- registered for studies with either a K-12 school or post-secondary institution in Alberta, or
- previously applied for or received student loans or scholarships.
Your Alberta Student Number (ASN) allows us to confirm your identity by matching your information to the Alberta school records on file for you. We must confirm your identity before we can provide you with access to your account.
You can lookup an existing ASN, or request an ASN if you do not already have one. If you're not sure whether you have an ASN, try looking it up before requesting a new one. Having more than one ASN will make it difficult to connect you to your high school transcripts.
